From the start of civilization, biomass fuels were unquestionably being utilized for the generation of energy.

However, in the past few decades, debates have raged over whether biomass fuel is really useful and sustainable.

Biomass occurs in the form of living or recently living plants and waste.

Biomass energy is the energy which is contained inside plants and animals.

The term Pyrolysis comes from 2 words derived from Greek elements; pyro, which means fire and lysis, which means separating.

Pyrolysis is the process of decomposing organic material at high temperatures without oxygen. This can include organic matter of all kinds: plants, animals, or waste products from organic sources.Organic materials used to produce biomass energy include forest residues (branches, dead trees, and tree stamps), wood chips, yard clippings, and municipal solid waste. To achieve this, organic materials are reacted using heat (without combustion) with a limited amount of steam or oxygen. The result is a gas mixture called syngas or producer gas, which is also a form of fuel. The heat can be used for heating purposes in homes. The heat can also be used to produce electricity by heating water to produce steam. The turbine turns a shaft, which connects it to a generator. For example, we can not find a combined median of two or more groups if the median of different groups are given. In simple series having even number of items, median cannot be exactly found.(4) It is affected more by sampling fluctuations than the mean as it is concerned with on1y one item i.e. Moreover, the interpolation formula applied in the continuous series is based on the unrealistic assumption that the frequency of the median class is evenly spread over the magnitude of the class interval of the median group.(5) It is specially useful in open-ended distributions since the position rather than the value of item that matters in median.Disadvantages of Median : (1) In simple series, the item values have to be arranged.
