My talk, titled "How Language Shapes Our Destiny," detailed how changing how I spoke to myself transformed my life.Our free Chancing Calculator not only takes into account your academic profile, it also measures other elements admissions officers look at, such as your extracurricular activities.We'll let you know what your chances are at your dream schools — and how to improve your chances!The first question focuses on your personality traits — who you are.The second question targets your progression throughout high school (an arc or journey).Great ways to ensure this are using a story arc following a few major points, or focusing on cause and vital to writing an engaging essay, and this is the point students struggle with most.College Essay Playbook is separated into 4 modules, and 1 module is released per week.This gives your teen time to take in the information, practice it, and then have incentive to work on the “end of lesson activities” when she has time before the next module.Instead of attempting to impress the Admissions Officer by making up unusual or shocking things, think about how you spend your free time and ask yourself why you spend it that way.Also think about your upbringing, identity, and experiences and ask yourself, “What has impacted me in a meaningful way?
